Our ryokan is located in the southernmost part of Minamiaizu Town, Fukushima Prefecture, along the Inan River valley, in an unexplored region. There are no private residences around, and we welcome you to a place surrounded by the nature of deep mountainous Okuaizu. The hidden ryokan built on a vast site offers an extraordinary experience that can only be experienced here.

It is a 30-minute drive to Oze Oike, the northern gateway to Oze National Park, a natural paradise. The ryokan is located adjacent to the village of Hinoki, which is called the last unexplored region of Japan. You can enjoy a relaxing and peaceful time surrounded by the simple and nostalgic original scenery of the countryside.

Full renovation of annex and separate building in 2023.
Separate “detached” building, an old private house-style house that can be rented out as a whole, has been fully renovated and reborn in 2023. The rooms have been remodeled with wooden flooring with underfloor heating, and are now Western-style rooms. The guest room open-air rock bath with free-flowing hot-spring water has been newly built to upgrade the guest room to a supreme space.

A building with a motif of a traditional Okuaizu Magariya house.
Located in one of the heaviest snowfall areas in Japan, our building is based on the traditional “Magariya” style house in Okuaizu, with a steeply pitched roof and exposed beam ceilings that give the house an open feel. In the detached house built in the old minka style, you can enjoy old traditions and a nostalgic hometown feeling.
